Matilda is an amazing dancer, dance instructor and super super fun to hang out with. She was visiting Boston from Sweden and we were able to get a glamour photo session together.
We had 2 hours to work with along with 2 outfit changes not to mention the passing thunderstorm that halted us during the shoot. When working in a time crunch, I try to not overthink a shot, just look for the light (natural) and a backdrop and then position my strobe accordingly. Sounds easy? Well, not really. I have come to this stage in my photography after years of practice and hard work. (Not to mention, the hours I spent on watching training videos to learn how the pros do it.)
All of the effort is worth it if I create imagery for clients that they will remember for a long long time.
